Reports

Overview, grid, burn-up, quizzes, attention and what's happening now.

Reports appear once a class is working through a course. Open the Reports tab.

Overview

  • Course completion.
  • On pace: lessons done against lessons due. On or ahead, slightly behind, or well behind.
  • This week: steps finished and quizzes passed, each against last week.
  • Class velocity: lessons a week, counted over pupils who've done something in the last fortnight.
  • Needs attention and Hardest quiz.

Grid

Every pupil against every step: Locked, Open, Done or Passed. This is where the CSV exports are. See Exporting results.

Burn-up

Progress against the plan. The line is the middle of the class, and the band holds the middle half. It projects a finish date from the last three weeks.

Quizzes

For each quiz: how many sat it, how many are passing, how many passed first time, tries to pass, time used and how often time ran out. Hardest questions shows the places most often missed. Rates count only pupils who sat that quiz.

Attention

Notes for you about pupils who might need help, longest waiting first. Nobody else sees them, and each clears by itself.

ReasonWhat it means
StalledNothing finished in a week or more, while the rest of the class has moved on.
StuckThree or more failed tests on one step, or no attempts left.
BehindFewer lessons done than due, at under three quarters of the pace.
Running out of timeTimed out on a step twice or more, while most of the class has time to spare.
RushingAnswering much faster than the class and not passing.

Happening now

Pupils in the middle of a quiz, with how much they've answered and the time left. You can Give 5 more minutes, or Close now. Closing scores what the pupil has answered: questions they never saw aren't counted wrong.

Quiz ratings

How the class rated its quizzes. These are anonymous totals, and a quiz needs at least five ratings before anything is shown.
